Considering the developments regarding COVID-19, We would like to first say that our thoughts are with those affected by the virus in the U.S. and around the globe. As we closely monitor the evolving impact, 24/7 Harmony Homecare services has some temporary directives being implemented and has become effective. These directives were developed solely based on guidance issued by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We will continue to adjust our guidance accordingly.
- All employers need to consider how best to decrease the spread of COVID-19 and lower the impact in their workplace. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of the coronavirus below, call the office, do not go to your clients, and consult your physician.
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Fever
- Chills
- Muscle pain
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- If you know that you have been exposed to someone with the coronavirus, call the office and do not go to your clients.
- Protect yourself and others by washing your hands frequently and avoid touching areas on your face. Washing of hands should last for at least 20 seconds this is more effective than hand sanitizer.
- Wipe down counters and other surfaces before and after with disinfectant.
- If you were out of the country in an area with a coronavirus outbreak during the last two weeks, please call the office and DO NOT GO TO YOUR CLIENTS.
- Face mask protocol: facemasks should be worn every day and should be disposed/ wash after each use. If your mask is damage and you are unable to replace it, please contact the office before going to your clients.
- When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue. And throw used tissues in the trash. Immediately wash hands thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds to prevent the spread of germs.
- Call 211 if you have questions. The 211 Connecticut line is Available 24/7, 365 days per year.
To ensure that you are in with the guidelines surrounding this pandemic you will receive updates on a timely manner. It is essential that we acknowledge the importance of each other’s role as we strive to work through this phase, with the services that you provide for our clients daily had tremendously helped them to improve in different aspect of their well-being.
