COVID-19 update for our clients

To our Valued Clients at Harmony Homecare:

In light of the developments regarding COVID-19, We would like to first say that our thoughts are with those affected by the virus in the U.S. and around the globe. As we closely monitor the evolving impact, 24/7 Harmony Homecare services are implementing ongoing measures to ensure the health and safety of our Clients and staff, while also maintaining the highest level of service to our clients. It is paramount to us that you continue to receive the same level of Care and Support that you are accustomed to.

As we continue keeping up with the guidance of the Local and State authorities, we are also basing current recommendations and directives from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and prevention (CDC). We will continue to adjust our guidance accordingly.

Recommendations for our Clients

  • If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of the corona virus below, we recommend that you seek medical attention, following closely with your physician’s instructions. We asked that you please keep the company informed of any changes and updates about your condition so we can keep our caregivers informed and safe.
  • For your safety, you might want to consider not accompanying your caregiver to grocery stores, errands, or other outdoor activities unless it is a necessity.
  • The company has mailed mask to All clients and employees, but if you feel comfortable wearing one when they are giving service please feel free to do so.
  • Please ensure that caregivers have mask on when doing directive care. This is to ensure safety and reduce the risk of becoming infected.
  • Call 211 if you have questions. The 211 Connecticut line is available 24/7, 365 days per year.

Directives for our Employees

  • All employers need to consider how best to decrease the spread of COVID-19 and lower the impact in their workplace. If you are experiencing any of the symptoms of the coronavirus below, call your office, do not go to your clients, and consult your physician.
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
    • Fever
    • Chills
    • Muscle pain
    • Sore throat
    • New loss of taste or smell

If you know that you have been exposed to someone with the coronavirus, call the office and do not go to your clients.
